Purpose of the role:
WEA have an opportunity for a sessional Support Worker to join our Midlands team to work across Merseyside.

As a Sessional Support Worker, you will provide the highest possible quality assistance to an individual or group of learners, in both face-to-face classroom and online classroom environments.

It is our most powerful and important tool in meeting the needs of our learners and the communities, regardless of starting point or educational need - We bring learning to the learner, whether it be in local trusted venues or their living room via online learning.

Key areas of responsibility:
Providing relevant support for the teaching, learning and assessment with a creative and supportive approach, adapting to a range of learning styles, and ability to differentiate delivery to learners with mixed abilities to develop learners knowledge and understanding.

You will be keen to help progress the learners journey, supporting the individuals through their education in a one-to-one or group setting.

You will need to have good administrative skills to support the local educational teams.

Able to provide information and advice to students to support identification of most appropriate learning programs.

Work with relevant internal and external stakeholders.

Support educational delivery in the classroom.
