Purpose of the role:
The WEA has an opportunity for an English Sessional Tutor to cover Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. You will teach both face to face and online.

Key areas of responsibility:

We are looking for experienced ESOL Tutors with the following:

- Up to date working knowledge and experience of teaching the ESOL curriculum to diverse student groups
- Experience of working in community settings
- A strong understanding of adult learning a belief in its importance
- A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, DTLLS, Cert Ed) ideally at level 5 alongside
- A subject specialism (ideally also at level 5)
- Experience of delivering non accredited and accredited courses with working
knowledge of RARPA processes
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
- A desire to share and improve teaching practice
- Experience of teaching online and face to face and use of VLE to support learning (Canvas)
- If you have experience of community interpreting in the public sector we are also need tutors to deliver L1 and L2 community interpreting qualifications.
